Here are the cheap deals we found at Safeway this week. After coupons, everything in the picture was $8.20, but we also got a coupon good for $5 off our next Safeway purchase. Including that in the total brings our final cost down to $3.20 for all. Our store doubles manufacturer coupons up to 50 cents; without double coupons the final cost would be $3.70. Here are the coupon details:

Update Sunday Sept. 18: I did the frozen deal again at Safeway today. The tags advertising the 2 lb of corn for $1.74 were no longer up, so I substituted another bag of frozen fries. Also, I got the 10-serving cannelloni instead of the enchiladas. Everything worked as expected, and the $5 catalina still printed.
It seems that this week’s Safeway frozen food promo details are widely different across the country. Some stores offer the $5 catalina coupon, others 30% off frozen items, others have a $10 catalina when you buy $75 (not as good). Most exclude meat and seafood. Read your Safeway weekly ad closely to get info for your store.
