Costco Christmas Dinner 2011

costco_christmas_dinner

Costco is offering a complete turkey Christmas dinner shipped to your home for the 2011 holidays.  Place a Christmas dinner order online now through December 18, and choose a delivery date at least 3-5 days later than the day you order.  Also plan at least 3 days to thaw the Costco dinner in your fridge, and 1 to 2 hours to reheat.

Make sure to check out reviews of this holiday dinner before you order.

The cost of the Costco turkey dinner is more expensive than most Christmas dinners offered by local grocery stores.  However, UPS shipping is included in the cost, and it is an option for folks who don’t have stores nearby or those who don’t drive.  Here are the Costco Christmas dinner details:

Costco Christmas Dinner, serves 8, $149.99.  Includes:

  • Herb Rubbed Turkey, 12 lb
  • 2 Dill and Butter Carrots, 24 oz each
  • 2 Green Beans, 24 oz each
  • 2 Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes, 24 oz
  • 2 Garlic Mashed Potatoes, 24 oz
  • 2 Turkey Gravy, 24 oz

Non-members can order the Costco Christmas dinner too, but it looks like they would be charged an additional 5% (appx. $7.50 extra).

The price of the dinner includes a $20 Costco cash card – check the documents on the cooler lid.

For last minute Christmas shopping, Costco stores will be open on Christmas eve (December 24, 2011) from 9 am to 5 pm.  Costco will be closed on Christmas Day (December 25, 2011).

On New Year’s Eve, Costco will have open hours from 9 am to 6 pm.  Costco stores will be closed on January 1 New Year’s Day 2012.

We also have a list of other stores where you can order Christmas dinners.

Happy holidays, merry Christmas, and happy new year to everyone!
