The National Institutes of Health offers a free book “Your Guide to Lowering Your Blood Pressure with DASH”. DASH is a food plan that can lower blood pressure. (DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension.)
This free book contains an explanation of the DASH food plan, a week’s food plan, and heart healthy recipes. There are lots of interesting tips, including ways to understand food nutrition labels and an explanation of how exercise can be part of the DASH approach.
