A free quilt block-of-the-month program is being offered by Craftsy in 2012. Go here to get free access to all lessons, including any that you’ve missed.
A new class is offered via video online each month. At the end of the program you will assemble your blocks into a throw-sized quilt.
This free quilt block class will work for many quilters, from those who have basic sewing skills to those experienced with quilt blocks. Among other things, this block-of-the-month program will teach you:
- half and quarter square triangles
- applique
- string quilting
- paper piecing
The class is being taught by Amy Gibson. You can ask questions of the teacher and discuss with fellow quilters taking the class along with you.
Besides this free class, Craftsy is also offering a free online sewing machine class.
