Kroger Thanksgiving Dinners 2011

Kroger_Thanksgiving_dinner_2

Kroger is offering fully-cooked Thanksgiving dinners this year.  Place an order at the Kroger deli and schedule a time for pick-up.  Many Kroger-affiliated stores, such as Baker’s, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, QFC, and Smith’s are also offering similar Thanksgiving dinners, though the price (and a couple of the side dishes) may vary.

There is actually a lot of price variation even between Kroger stores.  Definitely confirm with your local store what the Thanksgiving dinner includes and the total cost.  You can also check your store’s weekly ad.  Here is an idea of what most Kroger Thanksgiving dinners will include:

Traditional Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner, Serves 6-8, $39.99 to $57.99 depending on store.  Includes:

  • Private Selection Fully Cooked Turkey
  • Private Selection Traditional Stuffing
  • Roasted Turkey Gravy
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • 12 Dinner Rolls
  • Apple or Pumpkin Pie (note: some stores don’t include pie with the dinners)

Deluxe Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner, Serves 10-12, $59.99 to $69.99 depending on store.  Includes:

  • Private Selection Fully Cooked Turkey
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Traditional Stuffing
  • Roasted Turkey Gravy
  • Broccoli Cheese and Rice Casserole
  • Sweet Potato Casserole
  • Cranberry Celebration Sauce
  • 12 Dinner Rolls
  • Apple or Pumpkin Pie (note: some stores don’t include pie with the dinners)

Some stores also offer a ham (spiral sliced) or prime rib version of the Thanksgiving dinner.

We also have a list of other stores where you can order Thanksgiving dinners.

Happy Thanksgiving 2011 to all.  Thanks to Kroger for giving us a break on the cooking.
