Pickles, organic soymilk, and clearance cake mix were good deals at Safeway this week. Everything pictured cost $3.07 altogether. My Safeway doubles coupons by deducting an extra 50 cents for most manufacturer coupons. Other Safeways have different double coupons rules. I am never sure whether to use one or two coupons for buy-one-get-one-free items. I handed the cashier only one coupon, but she grabbed the second off the other jar and scanned it without problems. (The hangtag coupons were do-not-double.)

Clearance items combined with sale prices are usually great deals, but not sure how that turned out at negative 11 cents!
