Fiber One cereal and 8 pounds of oranges came home from Safeway this week. The total cost for everything in the picture was $4.73. My store doubles coupons to make them worth up to an extra 50 cents. Without doubles, the total would be $5.23.
Here are coupon details for these items:
Fiber One Cereal, on sale for $1.99 with in-ad coupon
Use double coupon and $0.75/1 coupon from 1/1/12 Smart Source insert

Oranges, 8 pound bag, on sale for $3.99 with Safeway store coupon in local paper (not the weekly ad)
(That’s 50 cents a pound. Without the Safeway store coupon, the cost was $5.99, or 75 cents a pound, not terrible either. There were 16 oranges in my 8 pound bag.)
